Skate Boarders Exercises

Swimming is considered to be one of the best exercises ever for keeping the body fit and active. You can’t ever hurt your bones while swimming and your muscles will reap the full benefit of stretching too.

If you have hurt yourself skating and you are on the path to recovery then swimming is good for you as it lets your muscles slowly recover their strength.

The important thing to remember here is that swimming refers to swimming in an authorized swimming pool with appropriate security measures. Fresh water swimming requires a high dose of strength and stamina and is recommended only for experts.

Walk on for a fitter body

This is an activity people of all ages (regardless of whether or not they practice skating) can indulge in. If you have led a relatively sedentary life it’s not easy (and certainly not advisable) to directly plunge into skateboarding.

It’s better to make your body used to certain forms of activity by going for a brisk walk every day. Walking is a low impact exercise which means that you will not hurt yourself by it. After a couple of weeks of brisk walking you can graduate to light jogging. If you follow this routine for a month you are sure to notice certain beneficial changes n your body.

In body building and any other strenuous sports, discipline and patience is the key to achieve your goal.

Practice pilates and yoga

Pilates and yoga are good ways to gain flexibility and build up muscle tone. You can indulge in these activities as a preparatory course before taking the plunge into hardcore Skate boards.
